June Diary Dates

Here are our trading dates for June, you'll find us at the Quayside every Sunday and we hope you can join us on the 1st for the D Day Quayside Festival in Blyth, commemorating the 80th anniversary of D Day which will feature a variety of live musical performances.

Quayside Festival, Blyth - Sat 1st June

Saturday June 1st, at Blyth Quayside from 10 am to 4 pm and is supported by The Port of Blyth.

Quayside Festival, commemorating the 80th anniversary of D Day will feature a variety of live musical performances, including those by The Community Voices Choir, Tall Ships Shanty Singers, The Victory Rollers, and Graeme Danby, who will feature a local solo artist from Blyth. The event will also showcase a range of food options and local businesses.

​

The Military will be present at the event and will display various activities, including a climbing wall, bungee run, and military kitchen. Attendees will also have the opportunity to interact with the Army, Navy, and RAF, as well as the local cadet groups, to learn more about their work and potential avenues for involvement. Local youth and community groups will also be in attendance to demonstrate what they have to offer for youth groups in the town.

Blyth Battery and Rotary will also be joining the activities with Army jeeps and cars from the era. The car park area of the enterprise center will have a funfair with rides and stalls, and the Harbour Commissioners building will be open for public exploration. Attendees can also take in some lovely acoustic music while seated outside. Further along the quayside, they will find an open day at the RNLI and the Blyth Tall Ships, which will provide a great opportunity to go inside the buildings and learn about their plans.
